Nigeria Correctional Service Opens 2025 Recruitment Portal — Apply Now
The Nigeria Correctional Service (NCoS) has officially launched its 2025 recruitment exercise and is inviting suitably qualified Nigerians to apply for various positions. The recruitment is being coordinated under the supervision of the Civil Defence, Correctional, Fire and Immigration Services Board (CDCFIB).
According to the official announcement, the recruitment covers full-time appointments in three major categories: General Duty, Inspectorate Cadre, and Assistant Cadre.
The NCoS emphasized that the application is entirely free of charge and warned applicants to beware of fraudsters and unofficial agents.

Category A – General Duty
- Superintendent of Corrections – CONMESS 02
- Assistant Superintendent of Corrections II – CONPASS 08
Category B – Inspectorate Cadre
- Inspector of Corrections – CONHESS 06
- Assistant Inspector of Corrections – CONPASS 06
Category C – Assistant Cadre
- Corrections Assistant II (General Duty) – CONPASS 04
- Corrections Assistant III – CONPASS 03
- Roles include General Duty, Drivers, Appliance Operators, and Artisans
General Requirements
Applicants must:
- Be a Nigerian citizen by birth
- Possess the relevant educational qualifications
- Be physically and mentally fit, with certification from a government-approved hospital
- Be of good character, with no prior criminal convictions or records of financial misconduct
- Be between the ages of 18 and 35
- Meet the minimum height requirement: 1.65m for males and 1.60m for females
- Male applicants must have a chest measurement of at least 0.87m
- Computer literacy is an added advantage
All academic and professional certificates must be presented at the recruitment centre. No documents will be accepted after submission.
